Foundry is once again providing you a virtual opportunity to support social and racial justice — and buy some great Christmas gifts — by purchasing fairly traded coffee, chocolate, and more. Foundry members Chris Matthews and Margie McKelvey will take your orders through November 18, and will deliver your purchases by early December. Visit foundryumc.org/fair-trade to learn more.
Christ House is one of the few dedicated medical spaces in the District for unhoused men. Foundry's been working with Christ House for more than 30 years. During the more strict periods of COVID protocols, we had to put meal preparation at Christ House on hold. But now Christ House is ready to receive fully-vaccinated, masked volunteers. Our team would be no more than three volunteers per-session for the near future. If you'd like to help out, join the group or email Pastor Ben.
Foundry needs a volunteer to act as our ESL program coordinator. It's rewarding work with no experience necessary. If you’d like to help, email Pastor Ben Roberts at ben@foundryumc.org or Jackie Wright at jackie@foundryumc.org.
