Foundry Social Justice
Please join Pastor Ben and our Journey to Racial Justice team for an informational session about Foundry's upcoming Interlocking Justice Antiracism Cohort led by AnaYelsi Velasco-Sanchez, an educator, consultant, and coach. Our Foundry Board has contracted AnaYelsi to lead us in our next steps with racial justice work. Foundry's Interlocking Justice Antiracism Cohort, which we are currently building, will meet once a month for one year. Their meetings will last approximately three hours, and will provide an introduction to an interlocking approach to antiracism in the United States.

This first info session will be held on Zoom on Thursday, February 16 at 7 p.m. You can join that Zoom meeting by using this link.

If you prefer an in-person option, Pastor Ben will hold another session Sunday, February 26 at 10:10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Thank you for your consideration of this important work. For more information, please email

For the 2023 Lenten Devotional, the Foundry community will explore the choices each of us is making to grow in sanctifying grace — not by focusing on what we might give up for Lent — but instead discerning: What is God calling me to take on for Lent? You can receive the 2023 Lenten Devotional in a few different ways: via daily email, or we can send you a hard copy in exchange for a $5 donation. We will also have some available at the font desk here at Foundry. Sign up to receive yours at foundryumc.org/taking-on.

The February LGBTQIA+ Potluck will be held here at Foundry on Sunday, Feb. 19 from 5–7 p.m. Please bring a generous dish to share. Or, if you feel more comfortable bringing your own meal, feel free to do so. If you have any questions, please contact lgbtqpotlucks@foundryumc.org. ALL are welcome to attend.

Help us plan our 2023 programs! On Sunday, March 5*, we invite all small group leaders, class leaders, and anyone who is interested in Discipleship to our 2023 Visioning Session.
